Music 100 Placement Test

Music 100, Rudiments of Music, plays an important role in the music curriculum: it is a prerequisite for multiple courses and is required for both the Music Major and Music Minor. We encourage interested students to enroll in Music 100 for a college-level foundation even if they have prior exposure to the concepts it covers. However, we also offer a Placement Test to help students access an appropriate level of material. This test satisfies Music 100 as a prerequisite and program requirement but it does not earn credit.
