Mount Holyoke’s Convocation brings together the entire community at the start of the new academic year. A highlight of this lively event? The fabulous outfits as each class dresses up in its class color.

Frances Perkins had a big month!
Which is especially fitting, given that September brings us Labor Day, the holiday of workers and all causes held dear by Frances Perkins, class of 1902.

Perkins, the first woman to hold a Cabinet position and the force behind unemployment insurance and Social Security, was called out as an inspiration and a role model .
