To ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations, and to affirm our commitment to promoting the goals of fairness and equity in all educational programs and activities, the College has developed internal policies and procedures that provide a prompt, fair and impartial process for those involved in an allegation of sex discrimination or sex-based harassment and for allegations of retaliation.

Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 (“Title IX”) is a federal civil rights law that prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in education programs and activities. Under Title IX, discrimination on the basis of sex can include sex-based harassment, gender-based harassment, sex or gender-based discrimination, sexual assault, and other forms of sexual misconduct, including stalking and domestic and dating violence. On the basis of sex includes sex, gender, sex stereotypes, sex characteristics, pregnancy or related conditions, sexual orientation, and/or gender identity.

In response to 34 CFR Part 106.45(b)(10) of the 2020 Title IX Regulations, ��Ƶapp is mandated to publicly share the training materials used to educate the Title IX team members. The College works with the Association of Title IX Administrators (ATIXA) to provide ongoing education, support and training. Please provided by ATIXA.

The College also provides extensive training to decision makers and Officers with Authority (OWA) who are designated as Grievance Process Pool Members. Please see a list of our Title IX Team, Bias Education Support Team (BEST members) along with Senior Leaders designated as Officers with Authority (OWA) with information on the training they have attended and the certifications they have completed.
